New measures to boost cross Border tourism are to be considered by over 450 delegates at this year's annual two day conference of the Local Authority Members Association, which opens in Letterkenny tomorrow.

The conference is devoting a special session to examining the potential for tourism projects between the Republic and Northern Ireland. Delegates will hear from Mr Matt McNulty, director general of Bord Failte, and Ms Pamela Anderson, from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
