The death has occurred of Lady (Lucy) Faulkner, the widow of the last prime minister of Northern Ireland Brian Faulkner, who struck the failed Sunningdale powersharing agreement with the SDLP and the Alliance party in 1973.
Lady Faulkner of Downpatrick, who was 87, is survived by her three children, David, Michael and Clare.
