Gardaí in Cork are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a flat on the city's northside early today.
The body of the middle-aged man was found at a flat at Thomas Davis Street in Blackpool at about 12.30 a.m.
Gardaí are treating his death as suspicious and a post-mortem will take place today to establish the cause ofdeath.
The body is still at the scene and area has been sealed pending an examination by Garda technical experts.
The State pathologist is due at the scene later today.
