Dublin-quoted travel software provider Datalex said its trading performance so far this year has been in line with expectations with $11 million (€7 million) in revenues.
In an interim trading statement this morning, Datalex said transaction revenues grew 25 per cent to $3.2 million (€2 million) compared with the same period last year.
The company said the foreign currency volatility was continuing to impact on its predominantly non dollar-denominated cost base, although it said currency hedging was holding cost levels "on target".
Datalex said its transaction rate is set to increase as it moves its customers to its e-commerce software Travel Distribution Platform (TDP) which provides recurring revenues based on the number of transactions they carry out.
It set the expansion of TDP to a number of new sites would generate additional services revenue this year and transaction revenue from the end of the year.
In March Datalex reported a preliminary pretax loss of $2.1 million (€1.36 million) for 2007.
Revenues increased over the year to $31 million from $26.6 million in 2006.
