Child rescue alert cancelled for Co Cavan girl (3)

A Child Rescue Ireland (CRI) alert issued earlier this evening concerning the whereabouts of three-year-old Saoirse Carr from Holburn Hill in Belturbet, Co Cavan has been cancelled.

Saoirse and her mother Rachel McDonald Carr have both been found safe and well.

Gardaí have expressed their gratitude to the public and the media for their assistance.
