Couple tied up, robbed in Waterford home

A couple were tied up and robbed in their home in Co Waterford early yesterday morning, gardaí said today.

A couple were tied up and robbed in their home in Co Waterford early yesterday morning, gardaí said today.

Three men with baseball bats burst in to the couple's house in Blenheim, Halfway House, Co Waterford.

They stole a quantity of cash, including a €500 note, before taking the family BMW car. The car was found undamaged a short time later.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses with information or reports of anyone suspicious tendering a €500 note in the Waterford area.
