The cause of a fire in a 14-storey block of flats in Northern Ireland is being investigated by police today.
A man and woman were rescued by the Fire Service after becoming trapped by smoke from the fire on the sixth floor of the building in south Belfast late last night.
They were escorted from separate flats after the fire started in a flat occupied by a woman who was understood to have been out at the time.
All the residents of the block in Drumart Drive in the Belvoir area were evacuated by police for a period while the flames were tackled.
