London - A man and a woman were still being questioned yesterday in connection with the Euston handbag killing. Their arrests came shortly after midnight after a raid on an address in West Hampstead, north London.
The 35-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, are both from north London.
Elizabeth Sherlock (42) died of horrific injuries after she chased handbag thieves out of Euston station in broad daylight on Bank Holiday Monday. She had leapt on to the bonnet of their getaway car but slipped beneath the front wheels as it sped off.
