The Sheehan Group is to expand its operation in the Republic with the creation of 200 new jobs over the next three years.
The security company currently employs over 300 people at offices in Cork, Limerick and Dublin.
The company made the announcement yesterday as it opened a new head office at Westpoint Business Park in Ballincollig, Co Cork.
The company, which was set up in 1982 provides a range, of physical, electronic and consultancy security solutions.
