Cork authorities to remove wreck

The wrecked ship, the Tom Field, which is endangering the shipping channel into Cork harbour, will be removed by the harbour authorities during the next few weeks. The authorities will pay for the work, estimated to cost £200,000, and then reclaim it from the ship's owners.
