The Irish Clothing Manufacturers' Federation welcomed the boost to workers' take home pay in the Budget, estimating that the average single worker would be better off by between £2.49 and £5.64 a week. The body said it was disappointed, however, that the Government had not reduced employers' PRSI for lower paid workers.
