Celtic tonight confirmed the signing of French defender Bobo Balde from Toulouse for a reported Stg£900,000.
The long-running saga was finally concluded before tonight's friendly against Fulham at Parkhead and Balde was introduced to the Celtic supporters at half-time.
He becomes manager Martin O'Neill's first signing of the summer and has given the club a massive boost ahead of the crucial Champions League qualifying tie against Dutch giants Ajax.
Balde said: "Tonight I'm very happy to sign for this club. It's a big club and a big very stadium and I look forward to playing here.
"I like the people here at Celtic and I hope to enjoy good times in the future with the supporters." -PA
