Cheltenham:  Nina Carberry won the BGC Handicap Cross Country Chase for the second successive year, this time on Garde Champetre.

Yet again trainer Enda Bolger proved the man to follow over the unique fences and the 4-1 shot was always travelling supremely well.

Carberry kicked on turning for home and quickly had her rivals in trouble, with Native Jack emerging from the pack to take second, 10 lengths back.

A New Story finished third, with Bolger's Freneys Well fourth, making it a one-two-three-four for Ireland, although favourite Wonderkid never threatened along with last year's winner, Heads Onthe Ground.

Carberry said: "It went very smoothly, we had a few little mishaps but he was the best horse on the day.

"They go slower in these races and that seems to suit him. They either enjoy it or they don't round this course.

"I got there too soon really but he did it well, I thought he'd pull himself up in front but he didn't," she told Racing UK.
