Joe Calzaghe had to clamber off the floor to record a 15th successful defence of his WBO super-middleweight title in Edinburgh last night.
The Welshman earned a unanimous decision over rugged Egyptian Kabary Salem after a tough contest marred by head clashes and other infringements.
Calzaghe had been knocked to the floor in round four by a right hand but rallied to prevail by scores of 117-109, 118-107 and 116-109.
