A British citizen has been remanded in custody for sentence in December for her role in importing cocaine valued about £240,000.

Afelumo Modure Oland rewayu (34), of March Court, St Philips Road, London, pleaded guilty to importing the cocaine at Dublin Airport on November 15th, 1997.

Judge Cyril Kelly at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court remanded her in custody for sentence on December 16th when a co-accused is also due to appear.

A Liberian national, Mai Jackson (41), of Vain Street, Staten Island, New York, also pleaded guilty to the importation offence on June 19th last. .
