Britain’s Office of Fair Trading says it suspects 11 companies, including the Football Association and Manchester United, of fixing the price of Umbro replica football kits, infringing competition law.

The competition watchdog said today the other companies involved were Umbro Holdings, JJB Sports, John David Sports, Sports Soccer, Allsports, Blacks Leisure Group, Debenhams, Florence Clothiers (Scotland) and Sportset.
