Police found the devices in his room as well as a bomb-making guide called "The Anarchists Cookbook."

"His intention was to blow up the school," Sergeant Wyman Hopkins said.

He said the bombs were small but could have caused injuries had they gone off near a person. School officials said there had been no specific threats made against the school in Rosenberg, 35 miles southwest of Houston.

The boy remains at the Fort Bend County juvenile detention center on charges of terroristic threat, possession of bomb material and possession of a bomb.

The boy's father said the boy had recently gotten into fights with other students. The boy claimed other students were bullying him.
