The Hague - The UN war crimes tribunal said yesterday it had indicted a former Bosnian Serb commander for crimes against humanity during the 1992-95 siege of Sarajevo.

Mr Dragomir Milosevic (59) is accused of responsibility for a campaign of shelling and sniping by Bosnian Serb forces which terrorised, maimed and killed civilians in the city during the wars following the break-up of the former Yugoslavia.
