Ramallah - Hamas's chief bomb-maker was killed by rivals in the radical group because he refused to conduct a bomb attack against Israel, Palestinian security officials have claimed. They said it was still not clear if Muhi a-Din a-Sharif balked at the attack because he sided with elements in Hamas calling for a halt to anti-Israeli bombings or because technical preparations had not been made for a bombing.
