London - A row erupted last night over claims that the British Prime Minister, Mr Blair, misled the House of Commons over the possible transfer of uranium from the nuclear plant at Dounreay to an atomic weapons programme.

The Scottish National Party leader, Mr Alex Salmond, alleged that Mr Blair had either misled MPs or been misled himself when he said no "missing" uranium from the plant had been used to make weapons.
