Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery this morning of a man with severe head injuries in Dublin's Leeson Street.
The 24-year-old man was found lying on the pavement at 7.00 a.m. He was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital, where his condition was described as serious by a Garda spokesman.
The cause of the man's injuries remain unclear. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
