Arrests follow Khatami rally

Tehran - An unknown number of people were arrested yesterday after an election campaign rally by Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, state radio reported. It gave no details of the number arrested but said demonstrators had left the rally and headed to the interior ministry, where they reportedly chanted slogans against government officials.
