An Army bomb disposal team made safe a viable explosive device in Dunsink Lane, Dublin last night.

An Army bomb disposal team made safe a viable explosive device in Dunsink Lane, Dublin last night.

The team arrived on scene at 11.25pm after being called by gardaí, and the area was declared safe at 12.25am.

The remains of the improvised device will be given over to gardaí for further examination.

This was the 156th call out for bomb team and the 27th viable improvised device made safe by it this year.
