Gardaí are investigating an armed raid on a post office in Co Kildare this morning where a small quantity of cash was stolen.
The robbery happened shortly before midday, when three masked men armed with a hand-gun, a knife and a hammer, raided a post office in Sallins.
They escaped with a small quantity of cash and a white car they were driving has been recovered by gardaí. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
