Arlington Park in Chicago will host next year’s prestigious Breeders' Cup.
The Breeders Cup Limited and the National Thoroughbred Racing Association jointly selected Arlington to host the thoroughbred event for the first time.
The 19th Breeders' Cup will consist of eight races totaling $13 million and will be held on October 26th 2002.
The 2001 Breeders' Cup took place at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York.
