In an article in yesterday’s edition, titled “Quinn Group lorries damaged in Galway”, we stated that the chief executive of Quinn Group Ltd, Paul O’Brien, was appointed to this position by the receiver to Quinn Group Ltd, KPMG.
In fact, Mr O’Brien was appointed by the board of Quinn Group Ltd and KPMG had no role whatsoever in his appointment. We apologise to Mr O’Brien for this error.
