Athens - Precious artefacts from the tomb of ancient Macedonian queen Euridice, grandmother of Alexander the Great, but there are no signs of a break-in at the northern Greek archaeological site.

Marble figurines hacked off the ornate throne are too well documented to put on the market, the Culture Minister, Mr Evangelos Venizelos, said. The throne, adorned with a picture of the ancient Greek gods of the underworld - Pluto and Persephone - was inside the luxurious tomb, flanked by marble Ionic columns.
