Police in Belfast are investigating an alleged serious sexual assault on a woman in the south of the city.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the woman (20) was allegedly attacked in the Canterbury Street area early yesterday morning.
The spokeswoman appealed for anyone who may have seen a young woman in a "distressed state" in Canterbury Street or the surrounding area to contact police.
