Supporters travelling to tomorrow's All-Ireland Football Final in Croke Park are being warned to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion.

More than 83,000 GAA fans are expected to descend on the capital for the match between Kerry and Mayo.

Gardaí are advising motorists travelling via the M50/M1 to allow time for road works at Dublin Port Tunnel.

Two supervised car-parks will open at 11am at Clonliffe College and O'Connell School, with stiles opening at noon.

Illegally parked vehicles in the area may be impounded or clamped.

A Garda spokesman said supporters will not be allowed to carry air horns, flares, bottled alcohol or certain flag poles into the stadium and are asked to have consideration for local residents and refrain from anti social behaviour.
