All-clear at Donegal school after bomb scare

The all-clear has been given after gardaí did a search for an explosive device at Carndonagh Community College in Donegal.

The all-clear has been given after gardaí did a search for an explosive device at Carndonagh Community College in Donegal.

The school of 1,500 students was evacuated at about 8.30 a. m. after a message was discovered on the answering machine warning of a bomb in the building.

A search was carried out by gardaí and teachers before the all-clear was given this afternoon.
