The authorities in Dublin today made two drugs seizures with a combined street of over €1 million.

Gardai in Coolock have seized cocaine and heroin with an estimatedstreet value of €600,000.

Four kilos of cocaine and one kilo of heroin as well as an imitation handgun were also recovered in the raid on a house in Donaghmede earlier today.

One man in his early 20's has been detained under section two of the drugtrafficking act at Coolock Garda Station.

Meanwhile, custom officials at Dublin seized over four kilos of cocaine which was concealed in the sides of a briefcase.

A British national who had travelled from Lagos via Amsterdam was arrested. He is being held in Santry Garda Station.
