RELATIVES of a Belfast man, who had to leave Northern Ireland on Sunday night have had[ to quit their homes. People gathered outside the houses of, relatives of Mr Kevin McGeown in Roden Street last night demanding that they leave the city. The families left, claiming the IRA was behind the threats.

But the street's residents denied the claims. Mr McGeown's mother Ann said she was heartbroken. Family members said her son had taken soft drugs such as cannabis but he was never a dealer.

The extended family of 18, most of them young children, will most likely have to go to England. Mr McGeown is already in London.
