Lima - Seventeen people died and 40 more were injured when two minibuses collided on a main highway in the north of Peru, officials said yesterday.
The crash occurred late on Sunday at Milagros, on the Pacific coast between the towns of Chiclayo and Trujillo, 550 km north of Lima, firefighters said.
