After 17 years in business, the Ecock brothers are to sell their three Vintage off-licence and wine shops in Dublin to concentrate on the wholesale market. Two of the shops, both of which have full licences, are held on leases, a 750 sq ft unit at Blackrock Newpark Centre which is rented at £13,500 and a 500 sq ft shop on two levels at Drury Street, where the £12,000 rent is under review. The Ecock brothers will consider either renting or selling their third store in Rathmines, with a retail area of 786 ft and over 900 sq ft of storage and offices. The joint agents, Palmer McCormack and Paul Sherry, are to sell the business by tender.
