Four well-finished homes in a small, Dublin 6W scheme cost from €2.8m, writes Fiona Tyrrell
Luxury five bedroom detached homes go on sale for the first time at a small up-market Terenure development. Fortfield Grove at Fortfield Square is the final phase of a small scheme by Jackie Green Construction in Terenure off Fortfield Road.
This final stage of the scheme comprises four five-bedroom homes located on an existing cul-de-sac.
Forty three and four-bedroom homes at the adjoining Fortfield Square have been doing very well off plans for selling agent Sherry FitzGerald and there are only 10 four-bedroom homes remaining (prices for the four-bedroom homes start at €1.525 million). Showhouses for both types of houses are open from today.
Prices for the five-bedroom homes start at €2.8 million. The homes have been designed with great attention to detail and a big emphasis on classic elegance. The 232sq m (2,500sq ft) homes have dramatic three storey entrance hallways. A formal drawing room with feature limestone fireplace is connected to the dining room by double doors.
A spacious kitchen/living almost spans the full width of the house and features a top notch fitted kitchen which has a glazed corner wall overlooking the garden and a vaulted ceiling with sky lights.
At first floor level there is a guest bedroom with an en suite and three well proportioned bedrooms. The main bedroom suite is on the top floor and has large triangular shaped windows and a large en suite. Outside there is a beautifully landscaped garden to the rear and lots of room for off-street parking to the front.
