DÚN LAOGHAIRE RATHDOWN

Location: Tack Packaging, Carmanhall Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18. Proposed development: demolish existing warehouse, storage and ancillary offices and construct 16,766sq m (180,468sq ft) gross floor area comprising of three retail/commercial units at ground floor, a gym/private health club and a residential development comprising 182 apartments in three blocks. Block A faces on to Carmanhall Road and is nine storeys. FINGAL

Location: lands bounded by the M50 motorway to the north and St Margaret's Road to the south in Finglas, Dublin 11. Proposed development: demolish two existing bungalow dwellings and remove existing trees and hedgerows and construct 162 residential units in three four-storey apartment buildings comprising 69 apartments, 44 duplexes and 49 terraced houses, one crèche facility with provision of 251 surface car-parking spaces and a new access road off St Margaret's Road, all associated site works and landscaping. Location: site to rear of an existing bungalow at Baskin Lane, Baskin, Cloghran, Co Dublin. Proposed development: outline permission to erect a nine-bedroom dormer-style guesthouse with 12 associated car-parking spaces, using the existing vehicular entrance and associated site development works. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Church View, Ratoath Road, Hollystown, Dublin 15. Proposed development: demolish the existing dwelling and associated sheds and construct 10 two-storey detached residential dwellings. Applicant: SP Developments Limited.

Location: Westbury Snooker Hall, The Green, Malahide Marina Village, Malahide, Co Dublin. SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: Newcastle South and Ballynakelly, Newcastle, Co Dublin. Proposed development: an eight-year planning permission is sought for a residential development consisting of 743 residential dwellings including a neighbourhood centre and a crèche. The development comprises 78 two-bedroom houses, 209 three-bedroom houses, 27 four-bedroom houses, 10 five-bedroom houses; five apartment blocks containing seven one-bedroom apartments, 20 two-bedroom apartments, 12 three-bedroom apartments, four two-bedroom duplex units and two three-bedroom duplex units; 57 duplex blocks containing 48 two-bedroom duplex units, 151 three-bedroom duplex units, 52 one-bedroom apartments and 123 two-bedroom apartments. The neighbourhood centre comprises of five retail units, a public house, off licence and restaurant. The proposed development also provides for 4.155 hectares of public open spaces and provision of lands for a traveller accommodation site measuring 0.5 hectares. Permission is also sought for the demolition of two existing habitable dwellings on the site. Applicant: Tenbury Developments Limited.

Location: the site at the junction of Coldcut Road and Cloverhill Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 22. Proposed development: erect 122 apartments in six four-storey to seven-storey apartment blocks with 35 surface car-parking spaces and 180 basement car-parking spaces. Applicant: The Coldcut Partnership.

Location: the former Gowan Group site at the junction of Ninth Lock Road and Nangor Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. Proposed development: demolish the existing industrial premises and construct a discount foodstore comprising of a single-storey structure with 161 associated surface car-parking spaces, boundary treatments, a new vehicular site entrance and site development works. Applicant: Lidl Ireland.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: the corner of Schoolhouse Lane and Magenta Crescent, Santry, Dublin 9. Proposed development: demolish warehouse/office premises and construct 10 residential units consisting of four two-bedroom houses, two two-bedroom apartments and four two-bedroom apartments in two blocks, one two-storey and one three-storey with 13 associated car-parking spaces and associated garden landscaping. Applicant: Taurus Construction.

Location: Tonaglee House, Millbrook Grove, Dublin 13. Proposed development: demolish existing two-storey house and removal of old trees and shrubs and construct a development consisting of 13 housing units, a 12-unit apartment building in two and three storeys comprising two-bedroom units and one two-bedroom townhouse with 15 car-parking spaces. Applicant: Rebarn Limited.

Location: site bounded by Belclare Green to the south and west, Balbutcher Lane South to the north and east, Poppintree, Ballymun, Dublin 11. Proposed development: construct 14 housing units consisting of eight three-bedroom houses, two three-bedroom apartments and four two-bedroom apartments with 14 associated car-parking spaces. Permission is also sought for the construction of a new link road linking Belclare Green to Balbutcher Lane on the north-west side of the site. Applicant: Habitat for Humanity.

Location: the Old Factory site bound by rear of 50-64 Quarry Road and backing onto railway line with access onto Quarry Road, Cabra, Dublin 7. Proposed development: demolish industrial unit, three entrance pillars and access gate and construct 64 dwellings in a stepped three, four and five-storey apartment building consisting of eight one-bedroom units and 56 two-bedroom units with basement car-parking for 67 cars.
