New tenants for warehouse space in Blanchardstown

Blanchardstown Town Centre continues to go from success to success

Blanchardstown Town Centre continues to go from success to success. The owners, Green Property, have lined up a strong list of tenants for the latest phase of retail warehousing beside the shopping centre. The line up of traders will complement the six companies already trading there, PC World, Currys, Sports Division, Hickeys, McGuirk's Golf and The Pet Stop. The letting agents have now completed contracts to lease 11 additional units and have offers on a further two at rents of between £13.50 and £14.50 per sq ft. There will be a total of 190,000 sq ft of space in the new phase, on top of the 75,000 sq ft which has been trading for over a year.

The new tenants will be Atlantic Homes (40,000 sq ft), Courts (30,000 sq ft), TK Maxx (20,000), At Home with Clerys (15,000), Smiths Toys (15,000), Tully Tiles (10,000), Elverys Intersport (10,000 sq ft), and four traders, each with 5,000 sq ft, Time Computers, Esat, Inspiring Ideas and What? Conor Byrne said the retail warehousing was complementing the shopping centre, which was "absolutely thriving". Green is likely to seek permission for a third phase of retail warehousing. The letting agents are Jones Lang Wootton and Palmer McCormack.
