An eight-acre site with planning permission for 47 apartments and 17 detached houses at Mullingar, Co Westmeath, has been bought by James Elliott Construction for £1.25 million. Garvan Walsh of Gunne, who handled the sale, said the price equates to £16,000 per apartment and £30,000 per house site. Shane Redmond was joint agent.
