SalesResults:Three out of six auction properties sold under the hammer yesterday - a sign that buyers are beginning to come into the market again after a very long lull. In Ballsbridge, Gunne Residential fetched a strong price of €4.5 million under the hammer for Speranza, a handsome Georgian house on Upper Leeson Street with lavishly refurbished interior.
In Dalkey, meanwhile, Sherry FitzGerald fetched €3.2 million for a six-bedroom Victorian detached house called Melrose, while the same agent withdrew Invergarry, a five-bedroom detached house on an acre of garden on Torquay Road in Foxrock. The property was withdrawn at €5.5 million and is under active negotiation and expected to sell in the coming days, according to the agent.
