Washing yourself in a work of art

INSTALL A masterpiece by Picasso, Van Gogh or Gauguin in your bathroom and create a talking point. A few years ago Italian brand Vitruvit created a work of art sink: the Decori is a deck-mounted basin decorated with some big name 20th century artists.

Paul Gaugin’s Two Tahitian Women on a Beach, Vincent Van Gogh’s Iris and strangely, Picasso’s Guernica, are all used in a decorative form to frame the edge of three ceramic sink styles, Sphere, Side or Groove.

The sinks are pictured on a glass shelf but they can sit on any sort of shelf or plinth. The Groove sink was €555 and is now €333, the Side sink €525, now €315 and the Sphere €495, now €297.
