CO CAVAN €325,000Three-bedroom bungalow surrounded by two acres of landscaped gardens, with views to the Slieve Rushen mountains, midway between Bawnboy and Ballyconnell in Co Cavan,

Describe the house

Built in 1994 by ourselves, the bungalow consists of a large lounge with a feature fireplace and ceiling, an oak fitted kitchen, three double bedrooms all with built-in wardrobes, a large bathroom with a feature bath and separate shower, and a large utility room.

It's an easy house to maintain with top quality teak windows, and a white dash exterior that does not require any maintenance.

There's a garage, and an outbuilding with electricity and water as well as a greenhouse and chicken house run.

Why are you moving?

We are retiring (early, we must say) and it has always been our ambition to retire to the sun.

What is the best thing about it?

If we had to choose only one thing it would be the gardens.

There are numerous flower beds, lawns, walkways, rockeries, a 30m long pergola, gazebo, large fully stocked pond with filtration, orchard area, and a small woodland area.

Many an hour can be lost just meandering around the garden enjoying all the differing vistas.

And the neighbourhood?

Set in a small rural community the property is very private, yet close to the neighbours.

The area is very safe, and there is an excellent community spirit.

Cavan and Enniskillen are only a short drive away, as is Ballyconnell, situated on the banks of the Woodford Canal.

And it's near all the facilities - supermarkets, numerous fine restaurants, pubs, shops etc. that anyone could need.

Who would like to live in your home?

Anyone who admires beautiful gardens, but has not been able, for whatever reasons, to make their own, will really enjoy this property.
