THIS LIVING space in the show apartment at Canon Hall is pared back minimalism designed to appeal to sophisticated 30-something buyers. It’s not all sobersides though; the funky retro statement Natasha Marshall Urban wallpaper injects an element of fun. Geometrics and abstract patterns are hot news this season, and this wallpaper fits the trend perfectly. It’s available from The Fabric Library (045 4860110) and is €51 per roll.

Interior designer Anne Marie Macken (086 8239166, elementsdesign@me.com) sourced the chairs from Domus (01-821 6450) and the table from John E Coyle Furniture Connexions in Monaghan (047 82155). The muted suede sofa is from Stock Design (01-6794317).

The German-made TV unit across the wall and shelving adds an intriguing, almost sculptural element of interest, and is also from Furniture Connexions.
