Friday, September 28th, 2012 is the final deadline for entries to the competition to find Ireland's Best Young Collector in association with the Irish Antique Dealers Association (IADA) and MyAntiques.ie(owned by The Irish Times).

The collection can be comprised of anything: coins, toys, teddy bears, Irish silver, dolls, stamps, even High School Musical trump cards. The winner will be awarded €1,000 and the chance to showcase their collection at the annual IADA fair in the RDS between October 5th and 7th.

Entrants, who must be under 18, should send images of 10 pieces in total and a written submission about the collection in no more than 250 words, explaining where the items have come from, how the collection came about, and how long you have been collecting.

Entries, with photos, should be submitted to competitions@myantiques.ie. Include name, age, address and contact number.
