:THE ELMPARK mixed-use development in Dublin 4 has won an award for being an outstanding development from the US-based Urban Land Institute. It was among five projects chosen to receive the 2009 "Awards for Excellence: Europe, Middle East and Africa".

“The criteria for the awards,” says the institute, “include contribution to the community, innovation, environmental protection and enhancement, response to societal needs and financial success.” Locals will also be the judges on how these have been achieved. The scheme, known as the Elmpark Green Urban Quarter, was developed by Radora Developments and designed by Bucholz McEvoy Architects.
