A cliff-top mansion in Co Donegal previously owned by Daniel O’Donnell has gone sale agreed.

The singer sold the house in 2007 to former Irish Psychics Live boss Tom Higgins for almost €3 million.

The luxury home at Cruit Lower, Kincasslagh, was put back on the market last year at €1 million.

The 9,700sq ft property, named Donegal Shore House, has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, several reception rooms, extensive gardens and its own jetty on the Atlantic.

The two-acre site also has a summer house, a detached three-car garage and paved cliff-top seating areas.

After selling the property, O'Donnell and his wife, Majella, moved to a house nearby. Their current home was redesigned by architect Dermot Bannon and featured on RTÉ's Room to Improve.

O'Donnell's latest album, 60, went straight into the UK album charts at number 4. A new documentary about the Donegal-born country singer recently aired on RTÉ and BBC Northern Ireland.
