Co Dublin/from €390,000: Twenty-five one and two-bedroom apartments in Findlater St Lawrence, a scheme overlooking Howth harbour in Co Dublin, go on sale this weekend through agent Douglas Newman Good.

The development encompasses the former St Lawrence Hotel and historic Findlater building.

The scheme is across the road from the Dart station, fishing harbour and marina. It will consist of 58 apartments, many of which have already been sold off plans. All units have balconies or terraces. Three of the remaining units have views over the harbour and the remaining units are south-facing.

Prices for one-bedroom apartments start at €390,000 for a 49 sq m (527 sq ft) ground floor unit and go up to €410,000 for a 55 sq m (597 sq ft) second-floor unit with harbour view.

Two-bedroom 63 sq m (670 sq ft) apartments on the ground floor cost €430,000 and go up to €590,000 for a 65 sq m (700 sq ft) second floor unit. Two apartments are also available in the adjacent building which was formerly the St Lawrence Hotel. These 93 sq m (1,000 sq ft) two-bedroom apartments cost €990,000 and retain much of the building's period detail.

All apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows in an open-plan living/diningroom; kitchens have granite worktops and integrated appliances. Other standard features include brushed chrome and electrical fittings and fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms.

The scheme has underground car-parking. Management fees for the two-bedroom apartments are €1,600 a year and €1,100 for the one-bed units. The first units will be ready for occupation by spring 2005, according to the agent.
