One of the best known bars in Co Wexford, the Antique Tavern, at Slaney Street, is expected to make in the region of £400,000 at auction on March 23rd. The bar has won several competitions for licensed premises, including one for the "Best Pub in Leinster" and the "Best Pub in Wexford". The business is being sold following the death of Vincent Heffernan who ran the business with his wife Eileen. The joint agents are Sherry FitzGerald Royal, in Trim, and Sherry FitzGerald O'Leary, in Enniscorthy.
