€2.5m for Dartmouth Road redbrick

Sales Results: A large semi-detached house at 4 Dartmouth Road in Dublin 6 fetched €2.5 million at auction yesterday through Jackson-Stops.

Four parties chased the property, which is located close to the junction with Dartmouth Square. The two-storey over basement house is in need of some refurbishment but has kept many of its original features.

Elsewhere, there were a couple of strong auction results with a detached villa at Zion Road in Rathgar fetching €1.9 million under the hammer through Lisney, and a house at Fortfield Road in Terenure achieving €2 million prior to auction through Douglas Newman Good.
