Wear It Out: Making waves in men’s fashion in Dublin

This week we met Brian Teeling, one of the founders of Nowhere, the menswear store on Aungier Street

This week we met Brian Teeling, one of the founders of Nowhere, the menswear store on Aungier Street.

The location is great and their aim is to be “a bridge between the fringe and creativity of Camden Street and the more established areas around the south of the city”. From the moment you step through the door, you know you are in for something special. Nowhere’s tasteful minimal design allows the clothing to be the star of the show.

As well as stocking amazing labels such as Alan Taylor and the Raf Simmons Adidas collaboration, they are a publishing project about men and culture – check out their podcasts and online publication at anowhereman.com.

With men taking much more of an interest in clothing, Nowhere is on the money with the style they provide. In the store you can pick up beautifully-designed pieces that you wouldn’t find anywhere else in this country. It is a much-needed breath of fresh air in a stifled and very commercial market.
