Wear it out: Bring the colour back in with spring pastels

We meet Georgina Waters this week to show us how to put some colour back into our lives

The evenings are getting brighter and spring is well and truly here. We meet Georgina Waters this week to show us how to put some colour back into our lives just in time for some much-needed fine weather. Pastels are a great way to start bringing life to your look.

Tell us about your outfit I’m wearing my blush pink bomber jacket, which I bought in Stradivarius for only €30. I love this jacket because it goes with every outfit and is perfect for springtime. I feel like the pink in my jacket really complements my hair!!

Underneath I’m wearing a white polo top that I got in Forever21. It was €25 but completely worth it – the fabric is so warm and durable.

My skirt is also from Forever21 and was €20. I love this colour as it goes really well with my jacket – once again it’s a neutral colour (which I’m all about).

My boots are from Topshop, they where €110. These boots were definitely made for walking when I’m going to and from castings and are super comfortable.

My bag is Calvin Klein and was probably my favourite investment. it was €180. It’s so handy – when I’m on the go I can just throw everything in and run.

My watch is fossil and was €130 –I love the rose gold face and brown strap and I feel it ties my outfit together.

Tell us a bit about your personal style A mixture of preppy and mod. I like to dress very clean – my whole wardrobe is basically neutral colours which fits perfectly with my on-the-go lifestyle. But I can’t lie and say I don’t love to throw on a pair of boyfriend jeans and Timberlands when I’m in a rush, which is necessary when working as a model.

I take a lot of inspiration from icons like Jean Shrimpton and mod groups from London in the 60s. I love to keep an eye on trends forecasting on websites like f-tape, and I love the WGSN Tumblr.

What are you most looking forward to this summer? I’m mostly looking forward to the variety of outfits I can put together. I love the freedom to wear outfits that wouldn’t be as warm in winter and not to mention the slightly warmer weather. I think that there are a lot more colours to play around with upcoming this summer, which I really noticed in the Gucci spring/summer ’16 collection, and I’m really excited to try and be bold with colours myself.
